MEDINA TOWNSHIP SIXTH ANNUAL “PICK IT UP DAY”
SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, May 12, 2012
The Medina Township Police Department, in coordination with its Community Partners, will be sponsoring the Sixth annual “Pick It Up” Day on Saturday, May 12, 2012. “Pick It Up” Day will kick off with an orientation and safety session at 8:30 AM at the Medina Township Service Dept. Building, 3718 Weymouth Rd. After this brief meeting, groups and individuals will go to locations throughout the Township to pick up litter. All safety gear, equipment, and other needed items will be provided. At 12:00, the Township Police and their Community Partners will host a reception featuring free food and drinks for “Pick It Up” Day participants back at the Medina Township Service Building. Certificates will be given to all volunteers as well.
